While at an agility event we heard a very disappointing story. A girl was handling her dog in an agility trial competition and they were doing very well. She was running alongside of her dog barely keeping up, the time was going to be great. When she got to the Dog Agility Tire Jump her dog hesitated, then went around it. Well, they had lost their chance to win. She thought she had trained well, she even had an adjustable Dog Agility Jump in her back yard. What was her fatal mistake? She had practiced simple Dog Agility Jumps, but some dogs are fearful of jumping through hoop shaped obstacles. She just needed to obtain one of our Practice Dog Agility Tire Jumps and use it for training. Perhaps at the next trial she and her dog would do better.
We have Eight Dog Agility Jumps available. Four are practice jumps, three are competition jumps, and one is simply wings to add additional space on each side of the jump and makes the dog have to jump farther away from you. The Practice Dog Agility Broad Jump and the Practice Triple Jump will possibly give you a "jump" on the competition. The Agility Broad Dog Jump and The Triple Jumps are common obstacles in all levels of agility so get the jump on competition by practicing these hard Dog Agility Jumps. The challenge of this strange looking Dog Agility Broad Jump is for your dog to jump over the boards in-between the 4 marker poles (not run on top of it or sideways through the poles). The challenge of the Triple Jump is for your dog to clear the jump by not only jumping high, but *long*.
